Delicate violet and pink depending on the time of day and light and with a dark pattern and a fresh green-yellow shimmer in the middle - this is how "Karma Prospero" shines out of the bed with its double flowers.

Karma Dahlias were originally bred as cut flowers , have particularly strong stems and stay fresh in the vase for up to 12 days .

And don't worry - the tubers of Karma dahlias are smaller, but that doesn't say anything about the size of the flower.

You could combine "Karma Prospero" with " Who me ?" or with " Hemisphere ", " Labyrinth Twotone " and " Creme de Cassis ".

Tip: Pinch dahlias as soon as they are 20 to 30 cm high: simply shorten the shoot tip by a third. Then they will form several shoots, more flowers and become bushier.

Planting time: May after the last night frost, sensitive to frost!
Or grow in a frost-protected area.

Location: Best in full sun. Dahlias also tolerate partial shade, but then they don't bloom as profusely.

Flowering period: July until the first frost

Flower size: 10 – 15 cm

Flower shape: decorative

Color: Light purple/pink

Height: 90 – 120 cm

Planting distance: 50 – 75 cm

Number: 1 tuber

🐝 Dahlias are often wrongly described as flowers that are not insect-friendly. However, as soon as the flowers open - even if they are densely filled - they release their stamens and are accessible to bees and other insects.

Flower happiness guarantee: You should enjoy your dahlias 100%. Sometimes nature does what it wants and that's actually quite nice, but not always in the interest of us gardeners. In rare cases, a tuber doesn't sprout. If that's the case for you, please contact me! We'll find a solution 💚
