Like the iconic photo of Marylin Monroe's skirt during the filming of "The Seven Year Itch"...
Our "Marylin" also has a bright white skirt that swings upwards.
This amaryllis is probably one of the most beautiful white varieties, with delicate green on the inside of the petals.
Planting tip:
Only plant the bulb halfway into the potting soil. Water sparingly at first and avoid waterlogging.
Only when the flowers and leaves appear does the plant need more water.
Do not pour water directly onto the bulb, leaves or flowers.
Vase tip:
If you want to cut them for a vase, wrap the stem at the cut point with Tesa tape. Alternatively, you can put the bulb in a vase, but the water should only touch the roots.
