Papaver rhoeas

Low-maintenance, delicate flowers that look like tissue paper. A delightful mix of muted colors (soft plum, pink and cream tones), all with their very own charm.

Long-flowering, insect-friendly and exceptional.

Height:
 60cm (24")

Hardy: Hardy annual

Where: Full sun

When: Straight outside, March to May or August to October. You can also grow them in pots. If you sow them in the fall, keep your flower beds covered with a cloche over the winter to protect them from frosts.

As with all poppy varieties, it's best to sow your seeds right where you want the flowers to grow because they're very sensitive to repotting (they really don’t like moving house).

Spacing: 15cm (6")

Harvesting/Flowering: June to October. If you sow in the fall, they'll flower the following year.

Tip: If you sow your seeds in the fall, they'll flower the following year. For a longer flowering period, sow two to three times at staggered intervals.

Contents: Approx. 1000 seeds
