One of the oldest medicinal plants. I don't think I know anyone who hasn't had a cup of chamomile tea for its calming effect or to remedy a stomach ache.
Harvest when it's sunny, the flower heads are fully open and then immediately spread out thinly to dry in an airy, shady place.
Chamomile is an adaptable plant – very happy with regular moisture, but can also cope with drought from time to time. Avoid waterlogging.
Also suitable for pots.

Where: Full sun
When: From March straight outside. Needs light to germinate so only cover very lightly with soil, or even not at all.
