Wild mountain perennial with pretty purple flower heads.

Uncomplicated, copes well with drought. Also feels at home in the rock garden. Forms clumps. Cover seeds with about 0.5 cm of soil.

Bumblebees especially love mountain garlic.

Height: 10 - 40 cm

Winter hardy: yes

Location: Sun, thrives even on poor soils.

Sowing: March/April indoors or from the end of March to July outdoors, cultivation in pots is recommended.

Planting distance: 20 cm

Harvest/Flowering: July - September
