Paeonia lactiflora
"Coral Sunset" is a very unusual peony, its color (develops from coral when blooming to champagne when fading) is incomparably beautiful, which unfolds its full effect in contrast to the dark leaves.
Type: shrub
Height: 80 – 100 cm
Colour: Coral when blooming, then pink, rosé, salmon becoming lighter
Location: Prefers sun, possibly fewer flowers in partial shade
Planting: Spring or fall planting.
Planting distance: approx. 1 m
Flowering: June, probably only flowers in the second year.
Number: 1 root
Tip: Do not plant too deep (2.5 to 5 cm below the surface). Peonies do not like to be moved and bloom more profusely when they stay in one place.
Peonies can live to a very old age.
Additional info: Some peonies do not bloom until their second year.
