These resilient (companion) perennials add a touch of magic to any garden and provide a valuable food source for insects, particularly butterflies.
They’re pretty hardy, have fragrant leaves and a long flowering period.
Popular as cut flowers, they also have medicinal properties. They also make beautiful dried flowers.

Where: Full sun, partial shade
When: January to April inside or April to June outside. It's best to sow them in a pot – they take a while to develop, and you don’t want them to be ‘overrun’ by neighboring plants. Don’t let them get too damp. Move them into their ‘forever home’ when they’re tall enough.
